'Balance' teardrop pendant (New Zealand jade)

Roimata, the teardrop, is important in Maori.  The modern day meaning for the wearer means healing and growth after difficult challenges.

This particular pendant has some subtle yet intricate Koru carvings, further emphasising the importance of the growth that follows the challenge.

This pendant also comes with a corded necklace that was hand braided.
