Koru pendant (boar tusk ivory)

Cameron was born in Wellington, New Zealand, and spent his early childhood years surrounded by Maori art. This inspired him to create representations of these beautiful symbols to convey the importance of cultural meaning.

The koru is a spiral shape based on the appearance of a new unfurling silver fern frond. It is an integral symbol for Maori where it symbolizes new life, growth, and peace.

This pendant also comes with a corded necklace that was hand braided by Cameron.
